Craftwell eCraft Cutting Machine

Hello everyone! So...I did some research looking for a new cutter. I currently have the Cricut Expression however I was in need of a machine that can willingly cut SVG files without any hassle. Due to my budget I decided to go with the Craftwell eCraft Cutting Machine. I purchsed it from HSN on sale and with monthly payment!! Here is the link to check it out..

Favorite Features: Cuts SVG files from MTC or SCAL, No Mat and Paper Feed Option

The reason I am writing this is because I have seen this cutter get such a bad rap that I almost didn't buy it. But I am so glad I did purchase this cutter and it works perfectly. Not to say that it didn't take some time to get use to and figure out. But doesn't every machine take time to figure out? Yes, I wasted some scrap paper and yes, I was ready to throw it out the door after 1 week of trying to figure it out. However, after taking a few days from the cutter...I regrouped and tried to figure out why I was having issues with getting a clean cut and here it is, the best advice that I DID NOT find on the internet...

CHANGE THE BLADE WHEN YOU GET YOUR CUTTER!!

That is right, after all my frustration, trying to figure out what was going on, wasting paper, thinking I was going to have to return the darn thing...I decided that I should just change the blade, they do give you 3 extras anyhow...and Viola! There you go, I am now able to get the most intricate cuts from my Craftwell eCraft Cutting Machine without the sticky mess of a mat.  Not to mention, I do a lot of multiple cuts when I am making items for my son's schools, such as treat bags..and all I have to do with my Craftwell eCraft Cutting Machine is put in however many sheets of paper I need..Usually 25 - 30, into the feeder, set up my file, press cut and walk out of the room!! It's amazing!! Within minutes I have all the cut out of my treat bag or cards...whatever I am making at the time.

Do not get me wrong, I still love my Cricut and will always use both but if you are a crafter that utilizes SVG files as I do, then I would highly recommend this cutter, it's a great cutter for a great price. I have a video below you can see for yourself how awesome it is and how clean it cuts :-)

I hope this helps someone out there and encourages you to buy the eCraft! Happy Scrappin'

Sincerely, Cindy
